Electroless Nickel / Boron Electroless Nickel

Electroless Nickel is a silvery alloy of Nickel and Phosphorus applied via an autocatalytic bath. High Phosphorus baths (10-12% Phos) give better corrosion resistance, but lower Phosphorus levels give a harder surface. Electroless Nickel can be made harder by baking. Alloys containing Boron give even better wear resistance the regular Electroless Nickel.
